A concert for Children and War UK in June 2022 raised over £8,500. Every seat in the house was taken, and many more watched via the live link.

Our thanks to the marvellous musicians who made the concert so memorable: sopranos Emma Kirkby and Angela Hicks, Sam Brown (lute), and conductor Howard Williams. They all gave their time and talent free of charge in support of Children and War UK’s work.

Who benefits from the money raised?

The money raised helps fund our essential work with Ukrainian children. Children and War UK helps children – inside Ukraine and those who have fled the war – to learn ways to cope with the psychological trauma.

And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave so generously, in person and online, and who continue to support the work of Children and War UK.

Why should I help?

The children we help are living through trauma that no child should ever experience.

Your contribution will help these children to rebuild their resilience and mental wellbeing, and give them a chance of a brighter future.

Thank you.
