Support us
Psychiatrist Dr Sean Maskey cycled the Ride London challenge and raised over £1,200 for our work.
With your help we can bring hope to thousands of children facing the trauma of war and other disasters – and help them to build a brighter future.
We can develop and deliver vital psychological support for these fragile individuals as they move from trauma to recovery. And the sooner we reach them, the better.
But we do need your support. Our life-changing work depends on all the funds we can raise.
Please do what you can – make a donation, become a fundraiser, consider a legacy or help us with a grant. Every contribution will help us to help the children.
Ways you can make a difference
Make a donation
- You can make a gift today or set up a regular contribution on our donations page.
- And you can make your support go further with Gift Aid, enabling us to claim an extra 25% on top of your gift.
Raise funds for us
- You can put the fun into fundraising and raise money towards our vital work.
- We have a range of events you can join here. Like Sean Maskey at the Ride London challenge, who cycled his way to raising £1,200.
- Or you could run a half-marathon, like Anna Carslaw and David Robertson, who raised over £1,500 at the Cambridge Half Marathon.
- Or organise your own fundraiser – cake sales are a firm favourite, as are sponsored walks with friends and family, karaoke nights, live concerts for local talent or inviting friends round for a fundraising meal. We’re always keen to hear your ideas and it’s easy to set up your own fundraising page on JustGiving here.
Leave a legacy
- Please consider leaving us a gift in your will, to go on helping these children into the future.
- If you would like to discuss this, please email us on contact@childrenandwar-uk.org.
Help us to get a grant
- We are keen to talk to trusts, foundations and philanthropists who can help our work.
- If you can help us to find or contact any of these, please get in touch on contact@childrenandwar-uk.org.
Spread the word
- Tell your friends about Children and War UK. The more people who know about our vital work – and the more support they offer us – the more children we can reach and help.
- Follow us on social media with Instagram or LinkedIn.
Thank you. Your support can make a real difference.
