“This wonderful performance raised much-needed funds for our life-changing work.”

Three fine musicians played together on 31 May to raise funds for CAW UK and our work to help children traumatised by wars and other disasters.

At a select event held in London’s fashionable Hoxton area, violinists Rafael Todes (of the Allegri Quartet), pictured centre, and his daughter Isabella Todes (student at the Royal College of Music) were joined by pianist Michael Freyhan (formerly Director of Music of the Purcell School). They played a programme of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven to a delighted audience.

Those attending donated a total of £1,400 towards our life-changing work. We would like to thank the performers for their care and commitment and our supporters for their generosity.

What we do makes a difference

Now more than ever, children need help to cope with the trauma they're experiencing.

Children and War UK is working to give them essential tools to reduce the long-term effects of traumatic stress.

Thank you.
