Our latest online course attracted 13 participants working in 12 different countries including Nepal, where catastrophic floods have killed over 14,000 people and left 33,000 displaced from their homes.
Other participants will be working in Palestine, Iran, Ukraine, Colombia, Afghanistan, Ireland and the UK. They came from a wide range of occupations, from psychology to social work, education to international aid.
The three-day course on 22-24 September covered the essentials of Teaching Recovery Techniques (TRT), our core suite of interventions for trauma-affected children. Participants were then ready to cascade their learning and our manuals to colleagues and others for use with children in need.
Our next online training is on 17-19 November, on Teaching Recovery Techniques (TRT). Details of this and other courses can be read here.
