We gratefully acknowledge the contribution of our trustee Lorie Halliday, who resigned from the board in August 2026.

Lorie Halliday has worked in journalism, social justice and human rights for two decades, and is the Executive Director of Kanlungan, a charity serving East and Southeast Asian migrants in the UK. She had been a trustee for us since 2024.

Lorie said: “I have always been committed to children’s welfare and their right to live a safe and stable life. Being part of CAW was an opportunity for me to continue helping innocent victims of wars who deserve a better future.”
