Two more fantastic runners, David Robertson and Anna Carslaw are running two half marathons in aid of Children and War UK.
- The Cambridge run is on Sunday 5th March
- The Hackney run is on Sunday 21st May
David’s words:
Anna and I are running both the Cambridge and Hackney half marathons in March and May respectively in support of Children and War (UK).
We were both introduced to the charity, and the great work they do for Children affected by the traumas of war and natural disasters, after speaking to Helen Likierman and Julian Hale over the Christmas dinner table at Anna’s family house.
It struck us how it must be an especially difficult time of year for some children and we felt that while working towards our new year fitness goals we could also be making a big difference to this wonderful charity centred around small people.
