A glittering charity event
Join us in making a lasting impact at an unforgettable evening celebrating the magic of cinema, literature, music, and live performance while supporting two life-changing children’s charities – Children and War UK and SameYou.
On Wednesday 13 November, at the historic St James’s Church, Piccadilly, this glittering evening offers breathtaking performances from world-class musicians including pianist Mark Chait (pictured above), violinist Yuri Revich and cellist Benedict Kloeckner. Special guests Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Miriam Margolyes and Robert Powell will be joining us.
And if schedules allow, we are expecting two icons of film, Emma Thompson and Emilia Clarke – the latter of whom founded the charity SameYou.
The evening will host an intimate audience of about 250 guests at the church, followed by an exclusive post-performance reception at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly, next door.
This is not just a night of culture – but a chance to make a real difference.
Donate to support the charities
While your support is optional, it offers an extraordinary opportunity to be part of something truly meaningful – changing lives and giving hope to those in need.
We suggest a donation of £100 to both charities, but truly value every donation however small or large. For UK tax payers, Gift Aid can be added as well.
Sponsorship opportunities for this event
Your sponsorship will have an immediate and direct impact, with 100% of your donation (plus any applicable Gift Aid) going straight to our incredible charities.
To discuss your sponsorship, or to bring some of your own guests, please contact William Stancer on email Willam.stancer@yahoo.co.uk or phone 07785 772650.

The Charities
Children and War UK
Children and War trains responsible adults to help large groups of children in their community affected by war, natural disasters and other traumas. Their proven techniques help improve children’s psychological wellbeing and resilience, in many countries including Ukraine, Palestine and Syria. Registered charity 1194478. www.childrenandwar-uk.org
SameYou
SameYou is a brain injury recovery charity that works to develop better mental health treatments for survivors. Emilia Clarke MBE helped to smash the stigma around brain injury in young adults after speaking publicly about surviving two brain haemorrhages – which led to young survivors around the world finally speaking out about their own battles and revealing that access to rehabilitation is shockingly inadequate and it must be made available to those who need it. A brain injury can happen to anyone. One in three people will experience a brain injury at some point in their lives, whether a stroke, a bleed on the brain or a traumatic accident.
